DailyDeals.com Launches National Deals

Austin, TX-based DailyDeals.com has officially launched and is focusing on national daily deals.

Each of their deals can save consumers up to 60% on the most sought-after online stores, for products ranging from clothing to jewelry, home improvement and electronics.

Our CEO Boyan Josic spoke with DailyDeals.com CEO Steve Schaffer about the official launch:

We asked ourselves, ‘do consumers really need another deal site that does the same thing?” Schaffer said. The answer was “no”, so they decided to focus on national deals, in which all consumers could take part.

The biggest challenge they have is targeting a different type of shopper; the shopper that is on a budget for everyday items for their home and life, not necessarily luxuries.  “Our goal is to define what national deals look like,” Schaffer explained. “We feel no one has really broken away as a market leader.”

DailyDeals.com subscribers have multiple ways of electing to receive their deals; e-mail, Facebook, Twitter or by visiting the site. This gives the consumer more power about when and where they choose to receive their deal without being inundated with offers. The site also provides a variety of content for their users alongside their daily deals. Suggested products, videos and user-provided feedback helps subscribers absorb substantial information about their potential deal purchase.

The first deal being offered today comes from Zazzle: Zazzle is offering subscribers $50.00 worth of custom holiday folded cards for only $20.00, and access to millions of free card templates.  It’s a 60% savings and will be available first thing Wednesday morning.

Zazzle Product Marketer Shelli Bueno is excited about working with DailyDeals.com

“Our current deal comes at a perfect time as the holiday season approaches and people are looking for ways to still be festive and save on a premium product,” Bueno says. “DailyDeals.com has a great brand and a great solution to enable us to gain new customers, and they really care about what is best for our business.”

Other debuting  deals include $8.00 for a $15.00 voucher on any product from eForCity.com, as well as $20.00 for a $40.00 voucher on any product from Novica.com.

Another focus of DailyDeals.com? Schaffer describes their enthusiasm about providing amazing customer service:  “Customers will find our exceptional customer service, site content, and high-quality deals to be enticing and unique. There are hundreds of daily deal Websites, but only one DailyDeals.com.

DailyDeals.com is based in Austin TX, and is a privately held company published by Austin internet marketing company Vertive. Vertive has been helping customers save money since 2003, and received $7-million in funding from Susquehanna Growth Equity, LLLP in 2010.
