Income has put together a new infographic that demonstrates “The 4 C’s of Social Media” – it illustrates how marketers are using social media to encourage engagement among current and future customers. These four strategies: content, conversations, community, connections can be used to get the most out of social media efforts.
Sharing and using valued content is the glue for social media engagement and important in early stages of researching technology purchases. Make sure to provide insights that match your customer’s needs – be personable and know your audience.
More conversations, less promotion. The key note to keeping your readers attention is listening, monitoring and responding.
Start conversations about what is going on around your town to get locals involved in conversations.
Target influencers that can spread your message.
The infographic was based upon the results of UBM Tech’s 2013 Social Media @Work research report, which takes a deep dive into the role social media plays in the business technology market. The research was based on a survey taken by 462 IT buyers, as well as 155 b-to-b technology marketers conducted in late 2012.
