Buckeroo Helps Merchants Keep More Money in Their Pockets
Daily deals can be good for business but one common complaint is that many of the deals companies that handle the promotions tend to charge a hefty percentage. For companies that operate on very narrow profit margins this can quickly put their books in the red, but a new company called Buckaroo that’s gearing up for launch, may be about to change all that.
Buckeroo will not only help merchants set up their own deals campaign, create their own terms and maintain control of the process but there’s also no forking over a big chunk of revenues to the middle man, in this case the deals promotion site.
Consumers on the other hand will find that Buckeroo deals will be much more relevant than those from other sites they might be familiar with.
“We are very focused on being hyper-local and the signups are 100% opt-in, so consumers are only going to be subscribing to merchants they have a particular interest in,” said Buckaroo co-founder Alan Fisher.
“If you are a motorcycle nut and subscribe to deals from various motorcycle shops, you are not going to get unsolicited emails advertising deals on nail salons or hair styling services that you would have no interest in. Ultimately, consumers only see things they like from merchants they want to hear from.”
The site is currently looking to sign up new businesses and is also planning on offering deals through Facebook and Twitter.
