Savemore.com Scam: Sources Reveal Savemore.com Linked to Credit Solutions of America, OMV Holdings & Augur Inc. Possible Company Laundering Conspiracy?
As continual news reports have begun stacking up horror stories about the Savemore.com scam since our first coverage in Decemeber 2011, Daily Deal Media has received documents from external sources revealing details of fraud behavior by savemore.com directly involving Doug Van Arsdale, CEO, Credit Solutions of America, and CEO of Lending.com Mona Cayard, CFO of Credit Solutions of America, CFO of OMV Holdings, CFO Lending.com and CFO of Savemore.com. The following information was provided to Daily Deal Media, showcasing Savemore.com as a part of a much larger chain of dirty cover-ups, manipulation of government tax and operating laws and a slew of borderline money laundering tactics.
Savemore.com Affiliations:
According to the Texas Secretary of State, Lifestyle – Save More LLC (Tax ID: 32043331886) DBA SaveMore.com is registered to Diane Simmons.
The managing company is listed as Augur, Inc. Augur, Inc. (Tax ID: 32042962087) is registered to Doug Van Arsdale.
According to the Dallas Business Journal, Doug Van Arsdale is the CEO and founder of Credit Solutions of America and Lending.com. SaveMore.com occupies the same office space that once housed Lending.com.
The DBJ also reported that Lending.com vacated its building due to tax liens filed against the company in July 2011 for $7.28 million in back taxes.
Savemore.com and OMV Holdings:
OMV Holdings, LLC was originally filed as Debt Counselor Services.
All documents filed with the Texas Secretary of State are signed by Mona Cayard, CFO of SaveMore.com. According to her LinkedIn profile, she lists her profession as the CFO of Lending.com and SaveMore.com
Documents were faxed from a SaveMore.com fax machine because they bear the SaveMore.com time stamp and fax number. See below documents for confirmation.
OMV Holdings’ companies are registered with the same registrar as SaveMore.com. (DIRECTNIC, LTD).
OMV Holdings’ companies are using the same Amazon server with the same IP (50.19.228.182).
OMV Holding’s companies have been running deals with other daily deal sites, including KGB deals, Groupon and Deal Pulp, but also haven’t been delivering their goods.
OMV Holdings as “Managing Agency”
OMV Holdings is the “Managing Agency” for the a variety of virtual office spaced companies. These companies are used by Savemore.com as the “Merchants” on many of the site’s “daily deals”. Each company is notorious for poor business etiquette.
