From the London Olympics to the reelection of Obama, 2012 was a year full of interesting and intriguing events. In 2012 we witnessed people coming together after natural disasters, the remembrance of pop icons, and people turning tragedy into motivational tools and moments of tribute.

Also in 2012 we saw technological advancements, new apps breaking molds, and entertainment in Detroit taking on a life of its own. The Detroit Free Press has worked to put together a list of, what readers ranked their top 10 entertainment stories around the “D”.
