Israeli based Daily Deals Aggregator Cliqa Offers Deals Via Video

Israeli daily deals aggregator, Cliqa in cooperation with Treepodia, an automated video solution company, will now be providing shoppers with video clips of available daily deals.

Oded Barel, owner of Cliqa says, “The whole area of daily deals and group buying, which has grown and developed drastically in Israel during the last year, is filled with rivalry between the different competitors in the market. The service offered by Cliqa together with Treepodia of video clips describing daily deals and transforming information to an interactive experience, is a unique service which does not exist in this area in Israel nor in the global market.”

A clear advantage of Treepodia’s system is its ability to create video clips in an automatic process by using pictures from the existing website’s catalogue’ and combining these with relevant promotional messages, music editing and narration. The fact that the process is automatic makes the costs of the video clips drop significantly.

There is a little know site here in the states called imin.com that reportedly serves up deals via video but since they require a fee (my email address) to view the deals, I can’t tell you how they’re doing. Cliqa on the other hand looks to be aggregating some great deals from sites like BigDeal, DealHayom, BuyCell, Buddies and more. Just wish I could read Hebrew.
