Recoup Acquires ForkingDeals

recoup2Georgetown-based ForkingDeals, a site that provides offers on food and beverage establishments has been acquired by cause promotions site, Recoup. Recoup describes itself as a philanthropic engine that brings businesses, consumers and nonprofits together for social good.

Recoup hit the pages of Daily Deal Media late last year, when barely a month after their launch, they acquired Deals for Deeds. At that time Recoup said that the acquisition was the first step in the company’s plan to consolidate the online cause promotions space.
