Dealshelve Contribute Lets Users Aggregate Their Favorite Deal Sites

Dealshelve, a Malaysia-based daily deals aggregator says they are taking a different approach to the challenges sometimes involved in keeping an aggregation site updated. Dealshelve Contribute allows users to sign up as contributors and maintain their own list of group buying sites.

According to Dealshelve, to get selected sites aggregated, users will need to identify public API or RSS feed provided by the sites. If none of these are available, they will need to provide a set of pattern matching strings that will be used by Dealshelve’s crawler.

All contributors will be able to fully maintain their selected sites off the web at “Dealshelve Contribute” page. Contributors from all over the world are welcomed. Dealshelve has already started to aggregate deals from group buying sites in Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines. With the help of our contributors, we are hoping to aggregate deals from group buying sites from upwards to 80 countries from around the world before end of this year.
